Kevin invested over $100 million of his own money into the Horizon saga — a testament to his unshakeable belief in storytelling. When studios hesitated, he bet on himself.

From Dances with Wolves to Horizon, Kevin has consistently championed authentic Native American representation in film, working closely with tribal consultants and casting Indigenous actors in meaningful roles.
Despite two Academy Awards and a career spanning four decades, Kevin remains remarkably grounded. He's known for spending time at his ranch, coaching his kids' sports teams, and treating every crew member on set like family.
Beyond the silver screen, Kevin Costner supports causes close to his heart — from environmental activism to children battling cancer.
"The stories we tell matter. But the lives we touch matter more. Every child deserves hope, every ocean deserves protection, and every community deserves our support.
